“This is a holy place where we discover each other in God’s love.”
June 2, 2022
Dear St. Joseph School Families,
As we look toward the end of a school year, we look with hope and anticipation for the coming year, but we also review where we have been. Many of our activities this year have resembled those of the past and many of our St. Joseph School traditions have resumed. It is our hope that in the coming school year, as people and as a school family we will continue to grow in our faith and knowledge.
We continue to pray for all those affected by the tragedies of this year, and believe that God’s love will carry them and us to a better time, where all people and especially all children can feel safe, cared for and loved.
In preparing for the coming school year, please be mindful of the fact that our uniforms are made to order, since each school wears its own plaid. It is important to order early for this reason. Those who order before mid-June usually receive a discount. Students entering 6th grade have a change in uniform style. Please consult the Donnelly’s website or the uniform section of the Handbook for this information.
Our last play for the year was today. Grade 8 performed their rendition of “Toy Story”, having done an amazing job!! Awards Day, during which we honor our 8th graders and other students receiving awards, takes place on June 3 at 10 a.m. Eighth grade families are expected to attend. Parents of significant award recipients in other grades have been notified by email to attend. Graduation is June 4th at the 4 p.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church. We also remind you that June 8th is our last day of school for this year with a dismissal time of 10:30. No aftercare is available on this day. Dismissal on June 6th and 7th will be at 12:30 p.m. with after-school care available. Please mark your calendars for these important events.
All library books are due. If your child has lost their library book, you will receive an invoice for the cost of the book to be paid to the school.

We continue to keep everyone in our prayers and ask that you keep us in yours, as we begin to bring this challenging, yet productive school year to a close, and look forward to the next! Please look for my summer letter in July. May God bless you and your families and may you find His peace in these summer months.
Always,
Marianne Cote
