“This is a holy place where we discover each other in God’s love.”

April 26, 2023

Dear St. Joseph School Families,

As we continue on through this Easter season, we have been and will be met with the beauty and the trials of our earth and its conservation (Earth Day) as well as, Mother’s Day, celebrating one of God’s most wonderful creations! This joyful time surprises us daily with its newness and wonder, just as our children do each day! How fortunate we are to work with these wonderfully talented children!

This Sunday, April 30th, our students who have been preparing for First Holy Communion will receive the Eucharist for the first of many times at the 10:30 a.m. Mass in St. Joseph Church. Please pray for them, as they take this very important step in their spiritual lives.

Our 8th grade class will present their class play this Friday, April 28th at 1 p.m. Parents and families are invited to view this presentation of “Beauty and the Beast”.

Upcoming plays include Grade 1 and Kindergarten during May.

On Monday, May 1st the students will begin wearing the “warm weather uniform”. This consists of the royal blue polo shirt with school logo, khaki shorts, socks (white, black or blue), and sneakers.  Sneakers are restricted by the following solid colors: navy, royal or light blue, black, gray, or white.  No other colors are acceptable.

There are many class activities that will occur during the months of May and June.  Please continue to view your school calendar and classroom communications for important information, regarding field trips and other activities in which your children’s classes may be involved. Muffins with Moms (or another special adult) will take place on May 11th sponsored by the Massad Family.  “All-School” dates of interest include our Art Exhibit and Games Day, both on May 30th.

All money for chocolate bars is due

For those who have been inquiring, it has been determined that the last day of school for the 2022-2023 school year will be June 7th.  The dismissal time is yet to be decided.

You are in our prayers each day.  Please continue to keep all of us in yours.

God Bless You!
